Propaganda versus technical details

The following image is classic Taser propaganda. Smith might as well be holding a couple of wee little harmless shotgun shells. His basic point is 'Ah, these little batteries wouldn't hurt a flea...' which is simply not true.

Here are the highlights:

The '123' cells are extremely powerful. The older M26 taser could accept normal AA cells, I assume that the newer X26 needed much 'MORE POWER' to achieve the Taser-specified tiny 5% increase in their so-called Muscular Disruption Units (they actually made up that phony pseudo-scientific term - just made it up).

The current consumption of the X26 taser is so high that it is literally off-the-chart for the specification sheet for those batteries. But by Taser's specifications, those batteries would be totally drained flat in just 16 minutes.
