Training Injuries go uncompensated

Taser announces they shrugged-off another officer taser-training injury:

Taser International, Inc. (TASR: presently $5.76) announced that the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, Rome Division, issued a judgment granting Taser International's motion for summary judgment and dismissed the officer training injury lawsuit entitled Wilson v. Taser International, Inc. ... No moneys were paid for this dismissal. ... [LINK]

I wouldn't be signing any of those waivers before undergoing taser training. In fact, I'd refuse to take the risk. If it was a job requirement (which is insane), then I'd go after my union to make sure that such injuries are fully at someone's risk other that my own.

Police Officers and Officials should have a good long hard look at this officer training injury issue.

It's insane that Taser recommends that officers be shocked, their position on such injuries is unclear, and injuries are going uncompensated. Crazy.

DO NOT SIGN WAIVERS!!
