The winning argument in brief

The Six Million Dollar Argument: ...Our position is quite simple. Tasers admittedly cause severe muscle contractions which cause the muscles to produce lactate or lactic acid. As the acidity of the blood continues to rise, pH drops. If pH drops too far too quickly, cardiac arrest can occur. This is well documented in the medical literature.... Taser could have easily sent warnings to its customers, but choose not to do so. ... [LINK]

The logic is impeccable. There's not much wriggle room in there.

It seems likely that there are similar incidents on the record that have not yet been litigated.

And we haven't even gotten to the (19Hz low frequency, continuous 100% duty cycle) X26 yet.

Sometimes the pendulum swings so far that it just breaks off. And then they wish that they hadn't given it quite such a shove.
