Tasered six times, died 'partly as the result'

24 April 2009 - A federal judge has thrown out a civil rights suit filed by the family of a 29-year-old man who died after police officers in Waukesha County repeatedly fired a Taser at him. ... Cyrus died in July 2006 after the police officers fired a Taser at him six times while placing him under arrest. I'm guessing that you won't see any proud press releases about this judgment. Taser International wouldn't want to draw attention to the medical examiner's reported finding that the taser shocks were PARTLY TO BLAME for the death
