'Delirium' vs. 'Cause & Effect'

My rule-of-thumb would be that the authorities may list as many contributing factors as they wish: pre-existing medical conditions, athlete's foot, lack of sleep, dandruff, requires Gatorade, delirium... Who cares?

But do not confuse contributing factors with cause-and-effect.
