OPP Sgt. extrapolates to defend Taser International

Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Joe Bosie said Sunday that officers received a memo about the new policies last week. "It makes sense," said Bosie. "Those probes or needles are very sharp and if you were to discharge a taser in or above the heart area like the neck or eyes it could cause serious injury." [LINK]

Yeah, that's the reason for the change to the taser targeting guidelines. The taser darts are very sharp and if they were to hit an eye or neck, those darn sharp needles might cause an injury. Yeah, sure, yeah... I believe that. Yeah, sure.

Pathetic!

(And just a bit too obvious there, Sgt. Bosie.)
