Mission Statement - De-Spinning the Pro-Taser Propaganda
Yeah right, 'Excited Delirium' my ass...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The primary purpose of this blog is to provide an outlet for my observations and analysis about tasers, taser "associated" deaths, and the behaviour exhibited by the management, employees and minions of Taser International. In general, everything is linked back to external sources, often via previous posts on the same topic, so that readers can fact-check to their heart's content. This blog was started in late-2007 when Canadians were enraged by the taser death of Robert Dziekanski and four others in a short three month period. The cocky attitude exhibited by the Taser International spokespuppet, and his preposterous proposal that Mr. Dziekanski coincidentally died of "excited delirium" at the time of his taser-death, led me to choose the blog name I did and provides my motivation. I have zero financial ties to this issue.

Erectile Dysfunction be gone! Excited Delirium is the new "ED". And while there is no little blue pill for the disorder, “trials” on 20 plus subjects across Canada have shown that 50,000 volts and a knee applied to the carotid artery – repeat as necessary – will reduce the symptoms dramatically. The exact origins of “ED” are obscure, but at least one documented case occurred within 10 hours of exposure to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). In that instance, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) were summoned to administer last‑aid to the victim, and arrest the threat.
As frightening as that may have been, it reveals another illness that has gone almost unnoticed, in of all places …the CBSA and RCMP. The disease is Garrison Mentality "GM"; a debilitating sickness that has seized the most senior in these organizations and is spreading. The illness is characterized by “us versus them” paranoia, and marked by personality swings and delusional behaviour: RCMP officers lashing out at imagined threats, and spokespersons rendered unable to separate fact from fiction: CBSA recruits morphing between drunken bigot and peace officer, and clerks and administrators wrapping themselves in SWAT-style clothing (watch for the many pockets, superhero utility belts, body armour, weapons).
All this is to come to a sad and simple point; the behaviour of the RCMP and CBSA, in the death of Mr. Robert Dziekanski, at Vancouver International Airport on October 14th, 2007, is an infamy. And the offhanded answers offered to the Canadian people – by whom they are directed to serve – are nothing more than insult and insubordination. The author(s) of this killing must be removed from our employ.
